Mentoring Undergraduate Engineering Students at a Liberal Arts Institution

An engineering professor teaching at a liberal arts institution may have a different experience than an engineering professor at a university. While many similarities exist, this presentation will describe my view of the distinctive characteristics of teaching at a liberal arts college: teaching and mentoring only undergraduate students, the opportunity to teach students who are not engineers, and the opportunity to pursue engineering education research.
