The University of Houston Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering has an Industrial Advisory Board (IAB). The IAB provides the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering chairman and faculty an industrial perspective on important strategic and operational issues. With input and advice, the IAB addresses such salient topics as faculty hiring, student recruitment, curriculum content, and graduate research programs. The IAB members also provide a network through which fundraising efforts, student recruiting and internships, and engagement of alumni are enhanced.
