The Department is well-known for its strength in Reaction Engineering. Areas of research include polymerization catalysts, environmental waste detoxification, superconductor synthesis, fuel cell engineering, semiconductor chip plasma processing, biocatalysis, NOx reduction, and atmospheric chemical monitoring.
