Petroleum Engineering Program
      — Requirements for masters degree

All program participants not holding a Petroleum Engineering degree must complete the following prerequisite courses before enrolling for intermediate and advance level courses:

PREREQUISITE COURSES:

PETR 5361 Introduction to Petroleum Engineering Burger
PETR 6328 Petroleum Fluid Properties and Phase Equilibria Dindoruk
PETR 5362 Reservoir Engineering I Thurén
PETR 6364 Origin and Development of Oil and Gas Reservoirs Thurén
Prerequisite not counted for graduate credit towards degree

Degree candidates must complete twelve courses (36 credit hours) for the non-thesis option or eight courses (24 credit hours) plus six credit hours dedicated to research and thesis preparation for the thesis option; a minimum GPA of 3.0 must be maintained for graduation.
