Petroleum Engineering Program

The University of Houston Graduate Petroleum Engineering program offers courses at times that accommodate the schedules of working professionals. The program can be completed in 1 1/2 to 5 years depending on how many courses are taken per year. The faculty for petroleum engineering consists mainly of working engineers who lecture for the program as adjunct professors. Permanent faculty members from the Chemical Engineering Department teach a few of the courses.
